K9 Washroom offers a self-service dog wash. 

We charge £15 for 30 minutes and £30 for 60 minutes

Please be mindful that someone could be waiting outside for their booked time. If you think you would need more time, please book two sessions after each other.  

Medium to extra large dog breeds and breeds with thicker coats will need more time to be shampooed, rinsed off and dried as a guide. 

You will receive a confirmation email of your booking along with a 4-digit code for the key-safe located next to the door entry.  There will be a retractable key inside.  The door automatically locks when shut. To open the key-safe, pull down the black cover so the illuminated keys are exposed. Align the dials to the number that has been emailed to you and pull down the small black button and the retractable key will be inside.  Put the key in the lock and turn it to the right, push down the door handle (it won't open yet), turn the key again to the right for a second time and then push the handle down.  The door will then open.  Please place the key back into the key-safe, mess-up the numbers and put back the black cover before entering the building. 

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations from the start of your booked start time.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booked time will not receive a refund. 

There is street parking to the front. We are located opposite West Exe School entrance, which can get busy with school drop-offs and pick-ups.  

Yes, as long as they are of small breed and from the same household and only need a little or no drying time.  

30 minutes:

Small Breeds Example 0kg-10kg: Papillion, Yorkshire Terrier, French Bulldog, Toy Poodle

Medium Breeds 11kg-26kg: Bulldog, Border Collie, Labrador

60 minutes:  

Large Breeds Example 27kg-45kg: Golden Retriever, Rottweiler, German Shepard 

X-Large Breed Example 45kg plus: Great Dane, Mastiff, St Bernard, Newfoundland

This is a guide only.  If you are bringing two dogs from the same household please allow yourself time to bathe your dogs and to clear up any discarded hair, liquid spills and excess water from the floor within your booked time as specified in the Terms & Conditions. 

Please feel free to bring your own dog shampoo especially if your dog is subject to any skin conditions or you would just prefer your own brand. The shampoo in the washroom is there if you wish to use it. The brand is 'Kelco' and the product is called 'Down & Dirty Deep Cleansing Dog Shampoo' which is used in dog Salons and has been recommended by local dog groomers.  

We highly recommend you research the product's details before each use as we are not liable for any reactions as per our Terms & Conditions.   

Once you have finished, please allow a few minutes within your booked session to wipe-up any spilled liquids and discarded hair from the bathing and main floor area in order to not cause a slip hazard for you or anyone else.  A rubber broom is provided along with kitchen towel to wipe it up and dispose of it in the waste bin provided. Please sweep any excess water into the drains.  

Please take home any dog faeces if your dog has had an accident on our property and please do not put it in the waste bin in the washroom or in our wheelie bins, thank you.  

The Washroom will be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day.  The drains have traps which will be emptied each night.  The towels and snoods will be washed, dried and ready for the next day.

Your time starts at the time you booked your session and will be for the length of time you booked and paid for (for example; if you booked at 10am for 30 mins, your time starts at 10am and ends at 10:30am).  There is no flexibility due to other people booking after you. Please don't overrun your booked time. No refunds for lateness. 

Please report it via email Bathtime@K9Washroom.co.uk along with your appointment date and time so we can look back through the CCTV recordings. If you can provide photos of the room that would be very helpful too. Thank you.
